This is a weekly challenge I have created for myself and any who would like to join. The common human experience is suffering - sorrow and sadness mark much of the world. My invitation is to bring a bit of delight into the despair. I spend a lot of time with children and in turn they have taught me how to play. So, come and join the play. Each week I will post some whimsy on Wednesday and I invite you to share your own whimsical creations (any medium). This is right up my alley..I love doing whimsical paintings, and have just finished several little paintings to add to my etsy shop!!! Will add your link to the one I want to submit for Wednsday Whimsical!!! Blessings,

Looks like fun, but I have a very silly question to ask. I've come across the word 'whimsey' a lot as I've explored the creative blogosphere, but I've yet to see a definition. What exactly makes a piece 'whimsey'?
I ask because I want to know the limits of the challenge so I can play :D

Great challenge. Since I have now a baby grandson and baby granddaughter, I am back to kids stuff and I love it. I'll try to keep the pase on this creative and positive challenge! I will add the badge just to remind. I do have a loooot of work by now but I will commit myself to this whimsical inspiration!
