weedy seadragon

response to the "happiness is..." prompt @ Inspiration Avenue

one-line pen and ink w/color pencils

I first saw one of these grand creatures at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga - it was like a Dr. Seuss character was motorvating right in front of my eyes - pure happiness.

It is very Seussian. I love it. I have seen one of these sea dragons at the Aquarium too. They are captivating.

Weedy seadragon is very cute. I don't think I've seen one in real life but I love your drawing. He would make a good character in a children's story!

Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday.

This little critter is making me giggle! This has a feel of Seuss, true, but it's a little more complex and I like that about it.

Amazing creature! I would have thought it came from your (or Dr. Suess's) imagination! I love the fluidity of the drawing ~ lots of motion.

Adorable. I've never seen a sea dragon before, either in real life or on paper. I was totally impressed by how you made me so happy with that darling little sea dragon. Great IA challenge entry.

This is adorable and made me want to respond. I like the line quality and the soft feel of it all. Maybe it's the colors. There's a curiosity about the image that makes me want to keep looking. It looks like watercolor even though it's color pencils.

I read someone else's comment and I do agree he would make a great character in a children's story.
